This is a review of a very common topic, pneumonia focused on patients with HIV, with a focus for general practitioners, and it is that although the intervention of a specialist in the subject will always be necessary (infectious disease specialists, internists, and HIV) the diagnostic presumption and the opportune attention, allow improving the results obtained in the patients.
